Yeah...for all those formula 1 fans who saw the final grand prix in brazil-this post wont be a puzzle.Yeah-I'm a ferrari fan and hence automatically prefer massa to win.But circumstances would have it otherwise and even though massa did everything right in his home grand prix,the drivers championship still went to lewis hamilton.
Irony isn't it?And all due to the fact that timo glock slowed down on the way to the final run to the chequered flag thus enabling both vettel and hamilton to overtake him.I still am at a loss to figure out why he did that due to the fact that neither he and hamilton are close friends nor is their team or he himself british.But either ways his slowing down enabled hamilton to grasp the title with a lead of one point over felipe massa-the exact same gap by which he lost the title last year to finn kimi raikkonen-my personal favorite.Just like last year though this year was shrouded in controversy although timo glock has given a statement that he was fighting as hard as he could.Maybe a mistake in the pits in the calculation of fuel in glock's car made him slow down.But whatever happened glock gave hamilton a new lease to the championship.Albeit ferrari got the constructors championship but all the focus lies on the drivers championships which lewis hamilton won.As steve slater aptly described those last 30 seconds were never witnessed in his entire formula one experience.
Anyway lets see what happens next year with the rivalry beteween the two teams intensified with both teams having won the drivers championships with a different of one point over their opponents
