Finally has the presidential race come to an end with barack obama claiming victory by a landslide.Given his popularity with the masses,it was an expected result.But the question remains that with his new policies and his new outlook,will it be beneficial to India or will it be an obstruction.
Obama wants the issue between India and Pakistan to be issued peacefully asap so that USA can begin dealing with the threats in Afghanistan-Pakistan's neighbor.Due to this US may interfere in the matter-something which India resents as India believes it can solve the problem without the interference of any third party.also there is the threat of outsourcing of jobs which may be another worry for the Indians.But there are also some good points like the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq and also speeding up of the H-1B visas.
It remains to be seen if Obama actually implements all of his policies or becomes yet another puppet in the hands of the politicians and the party.
